Credit Terms
Credits are an internal DentGather unit used for Professional Exchange and visibility features.
Internal unit only
Credits are an internal platform unit inside DentGather. They are not money, not a payment instrument and not a claim against any third party. Dentists do not pay each other money for Professional Exchange on the platform.
No cash-out
Credits cannot be paid out in cash, redeemed for money or transferred to another member outside the defined DentGather activities. They can be settled between host and guest only through the defined activity rules.
Expiry
Purchased credits do not expire and remain in your account after a downgrade, although Free accounts cannot spend them.
Host settlement
The host receives 100% of the exchange credits once the exchange is completed. Cancellation, no-show and dispute outcomes follow the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Meetups, dinners and student activities
General Meetups cost 0 credits to create, join and host. A dentist accepted for a Network Dinner reserves 1 refundable credit; an eligible dental student takes part at 0 credits with no reservation. Student Observerships are 0 credits.
Ledger
Every credit movement is recorded in an immutable ledger. Balances change only through trusted server-side operations.
Tax and regulation
Outstanding: VAT and tax treatment of credit purchases. This information is supplied by the operating company and published before public launch.
