Event, Dinner & Meetup Terms

Participation rules for Network Dinners, General Meetups and professional events.

Launch draft. The product facts described here are accurate for the current version of DentGather. Company, contact, representative, jurisdiction, retention, billing and tax details are still outstanding. This information is supplied by the operating company and published before public launch. Final legal wording is reviewed by legal counsel before public launch.

Participation

Dinners and Meetups are approval-required and hosted by members. The city and area are shown beforehand; the exact venue is shared with confirmed participants only.

Meetups

General Meetups are dentist-hosted community gatherings for 2 to 30 people including the host, at 0 credits. Dental students with active Student Access can request to join only where the host has enabled students.

External events

DentGather does not sell tickets. Registration, fees and any accreditation of external events are handled by the organiser, not by DentGather.

Costs

Each activity states its own payment note: each pays their own share, host invited, sponsored, or other. Any money changes hands off-platform between you and the venue or organiser.

Organizer and sponsor data

An organizer or sponsor can see the participant information needed to run their activity inside the platform. There is no automatic export of private email addresses or phone numbers, no unrestricted profile access and no exportable marketing list. Participation is not marketing consent.

Attendance records

Only an authoritative attendance confirmation creates a private Passport record and a private certificate. Cancelled, no-show or unconfirmed participation creates neither.

Cancellation

Hosts and organisers may cancel an activity; participants are notified in the app and any reserved credits follow the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
